about the series
Like many piano players, I fell in love with the piano from a young age. I taught myself how to play by ear and spent countless hours practicing and rehearsing many classical pieces, with Bach being one of my favorites.

I learned how to play based on emotions and patterns and when I became a piano teacher, I started teaching my method to other students. My sessions with students inspired me to write this series. I wanted to create piano tunes that were emotional, beautiful, and fun to play.

In 2020, during the lockdown, I sat down one night in my makeshift music studio shed (seen in the photo), surrounded by the most beautiful garden, to compose for the first time ever. After I composed my first tune, I found that more and more kept coming until, in the end, I had written the 52 tunes that make up this series.

I never thought of myself as a piano composer. I just felt a deep longing to play and to create music that could have a positive impact on others. You never know what you can achieve unless you try, right?
Now, I am glad to be able to share these tunes with piano students, teachers, and players from all over. I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed bringing them to life.
