"Absolutely wow! The tunes are very well structured for all levels and very well written. I’m no piano expert but could easily pick up more than 5 new (fairly complicated) tunes! Loving it!"
Speaking about (No. 12 - Until the Sun Goes Down)

"This piano solo explores a wonderful variety of dynamics, showcases careful voicing of the melody and has some surprising harmonic shifts. The music is deeply emotional and has a storytelling quality about it."
"We got all of Roy’s books for our son. We are constantly enjoying the beautiful tunes that are helping our son progress in his piano playing journey. "
Like many piano players, I fell in love with the piano from a young age. I taught myself how to play by ear and spent countless hours practicing and rehearsing many classical pieces, with Bach being one of my favorites.

I learned how to play based on emotions and patterns and soon, I started teaching my method to other students. These interactions inspired me to write this series. I wanted to create piano tunes for students that were as emotional and beautiful-sounding as the ones I learned to play.

In 2020, during the lockdown, I sat down one night to compose for the first time ever. Night after night, I sat and sat. After I finished my first tune, more and more kept coming. I was shocked. I couldn't believe I had written these tunes.

You never know what you can achieve unless you try. And I am glad to be able to share these tunes with piano students, teachers, and players from all over.

I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed bringing them to life.
